CESA 11’s SciMaTech Service supports schools in engaging students in science, technology, engineering, and math that can lead to the development of a new STEM passion and a possible career pathway.  In addition to providing a one-of-a-kind astronomy experience of the night sky, we also provide robots, drones, and cutting edge technology resources to inspire students to be creative problem solvers and innovators.

Osmo Kits

Osmo is an award-winning system of hands-on educational games that interact with an iPad or Amazon Fire tablet. The system uses a stand and a mirror accessory to allow the device's front-facing camera to "see" and track physical objects, such as letter tiles, number tiles, or drawing pads, in the real-world play space in front of the screen.

• Purpose: To merge tactile, physical play with interactive digital learning, making screen time more active and educational.

• Skills Taught: The various games teach a range of subjects including math, spelling, creative drawing, physics, coding, and problem-solving.

• Usage: It is popular in both homes and classrooms, approved by parents and teachers.
