• Designed to support the work of building and district safety coordinators

• Sessions will allow staff from different districts to collaborate and share resources, learn about best practices, and engage in discussions with various educational partners

• Supported work time at each session provided by Dept. of Justice’s Office of School Safety Consultant for drafting and submitting required School Safety Plan

Live Vape Free

One in five Wisconsin high school students currently uses e-cigarettes, and 40% of Wisconsin high school students who use tobacco products want to quit. Live Vape Free, funded by the Wisconsin Tobacco Prevention and Control Program, gives teens the support they need to quit e-cigarettes for good. It is an online course to learn about warning signs of youth use, and get tips for talking to youth about e-cigarettes. Adults can enroll in the course at www.dhs.wisconsin.gov/vapefree

Please consider sharing this information on Live Vape Free with the middle and high schools in your district. Flyers can be printed and displayed in hallways, offices, or wherever teens or school staff/visitors will see them.
