Cybersecurity Service
In an 18 month study by the Center for Internet Security (CIS), 82% of the 5,000 K-12 districts participating experienced some form of a cyber incident. These districts cited lack of sufficient funding, increasing sophistication of threats, and lack of documented processes as their top security concerns.
CESA 11’s Cybersecurity Services are intended to help each school district to proactively tackle both policy and technical hurdles. Through the development of incident response plans, incident playbooks, and other policies, this service helps to alleviate those time and technical constraints that a district may face. Additionally, the Cybersecurity Service helps to establish assessment baselines and give district leadership an insight into their current cybersecurity standing.
CESA staff will also help districts connect to state and federal cybersecurity resources.
