The purpose of Special Education is to insure that every eligible student has access to a free and appropriate public education. CESA #11 is dedicated to providing support to districts in assisting them in the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs and services for children with disabilities.  

The CESA #11 Special Education Department offers a wide variety of services. Services include Personnel Development, Special Education Consultation, Program Support, SBS Billing, Resource Media Services, and Low Incidence Services. These services are provided to all educators, paraprofessionals, administrators, Special Education Directors and parents involved in educating students with disabilities.

Some Special Education services are included under the Instructional Support and Professional Development (ISPD) Department.
