UPDATE Newsletter
Thirty-four districts in the CESA #11 region make up the Title IV: CESA 11 - Safe and Drug Free School Consortium(SDFS). One hundred percent (100%) of district funds is surrendered to the consortium with a 50% rebate to schools. Schools must document a plan for the rebate of funds.
Goals of the consortium include:
- Violence prevention programming including Comprehensive School Safety Plans
- ATOD prevention programming including staff development on researched-based prevention programs and curriculum
- Youth leadership and positive youth development
- Grant writing for other state and federal prevention focused grants (Tobacco Grants)
