CESA 11 is supporting the roll out of the Common CORE standards through a variety of professional development offerings. There will be several leadership offerings and Deeper Understanding of the Standards sessions offered in the fall. Multiple point of entry are available to address the needs of your school/district. Development of Common Core curriculum in math and ELA will begin in January.

CCSS Leadership and PLC Overview Session - September 29, 2011: The session is intended for principals and teacher leaders to meet and determine an action plan for the upcoming school year.
During 2010-11, we provided "Foundations" meetings to give an overview of the background of the Common CORE and the four year plan to move to full implementation. Those sessions were held on September 10 and 24 for Superintendents, Principals, Curriculum Coordinators, Directors of Special Education, and Teacher Leaders.
