The Comprehensive Consulting and Networking Service enables CESA #11 to assist school districts with many activities, especially new initiatives. Each participating district is entitled to two in-district days of support for specific consulting services along with access to a variety of networks and meetings. On behalf of the participating school districts, the CESA #11 Educational Consultants perform the following:
- Attend state-level and regional meetings and disseminate information and materials to our schools.
- Training in new areas emerging from new state/federal policies (i.e. assessment framework, licensure, assessment changes, and policy implications)
- Coordinate and host regional meetings with the Department of Public Instruction on state and federal programs and guidelines
- Facilitate networks such as: Curriculum Coordinators, District Assessment Coordinators, Elementary Principals, Guidance Counselors, Reading Specialists, GT Coordinators, Middle School Principals, and High School Principals
- Staff development for teachers and administrators at a member cost (e.g., curriculum development, data analysis, licensure, mentoring, program evaluation, etc.).
For more information regarding the CCNS services or the use of indistrict consultation days, contact Connie Erickson, Director of ISPD.
