Professional Learning Community Training of Trainers/Facilitators
Facilitated by CESA #11 and WI RtI Technical Assistance Center Statewide PLC Trainers

Are you trying to implement RtI-Response to Intervention, but don't have the collaboration system in place to support the process?

Have you implemented the PLC concept in your school/district and are needing a "refresher" for facilitators or need training for new staff?

Are you looking for a more effective way to support curriculum, instruction and assessment development using the Common Core Stadards?
The PLC training is intended to support schools/districts in addressing the Three Big Ideas that drive Professional Learning Communities:
1. The purpose of school is to ensure all students learn at high levels.
2. Helping all students learn requires a collaborative and collective effort.
3. To assess our effectiveness in helping all students learn, the focus is on RESULTS (evidence of student learning) and using results to inform and improve professional practice and respond to students who need intervention or enrichment.
Sessions offered may be attended as a single session or a series of four.

Establishing norms, collaborative teams, examining the 3 Big Ideas and Essential Characterstics
Session 2: January 5, 2012

Examing culture, the 4 Essential Questions, Essential Learning Outcomes and Consensus building
Session 3: February 7, 2012

Examining curriculum mapping and common assessments and Action Planning
Session 4: April 24, 2012

Using data, development of SMART Goals and planning celebrations
